Hi, I am Wendi, one of the many cats here at ACHS, and this is my story. My owner had too many barn cats and wanted to find good homes for the nicer cats. That is why I am here. I really want the chance to have a good life in a good home. I am a very shy girl. I will try all I can to keep you away, but I really am begging for you to touch me. Once you pick me up, I love to be petted and made of. I am just not sure what your intentions are toward me at first. I will need a quiet home with owners who will be patient with me and give me time to come out of my shell and be the cat I always wanted to be. Because of my shyness and no previous experience with dogs, I want a dog free home. I however like other cats and would love a cat companion to keep me company and show me the ropes of living and lounging around a house. I would prefer older kids because the young ones move to fast and scare me. I really want a good home that will love me. So thats my story. It started out a bit sad, but I know that some wonderful person like you will adopt me.
